“Nero” is a sensational moving, flashy black embryo transfer colt with 4 white socks and blaze. He is an incredibly people friendly, quality foal who would suit a rider looking for a future FEI horse. He carries the blood of many of the greats of modern Grand Prix dressage in De Niro, Johnson, Jazz, and Ferro, with a splash of jumping blood in Concorde, one of the greatest sires of show jumpers of the last 25 years.

His sire, the great De Niro, is unequalled in modern times in producing Grand Prix horses.  He is renowned for producing trainable, talented horses who show their true ability at the higher levels.

Nero’s maternal grandsire, Glock’s Johnson, is a stunning and very fancy moving stallion who, after much success as a young horse has transitioned to Grand Prix with Hans Peter Minderhoud, finishing in the top 15 at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy.  He was also a member of the Dutch gold medal winning team at the 2015 European championships, and was individual bronze medallist.

His maternal great-grand sire, Metall, has produced many good horses, including Carl Hester’s 2012 London Olympic team gold medal winning stallion, Uthopia.
