“Jet” is a stunning jet black 2yo gelding who was imported in utero.  He is beautiful horse who would suit a rider looking for a small dressage horse or small show hunter.  He carries the blood of many of the greats of modern dressage in Florencio, Florestan, Jazz, Ferro, Rubinstein, and Weltmeyer, and comes from a sensational damline.  His grand dam, Okara, has produced countless outstanding sporthorses.

His sire, Charmeur, is one of the Netherlands most promising young stallions. After his approval Charmeur did his stallion test in 2010 and was the clear winner. As a 4yo, he was winner of the Dutch Pavo Cup in 2011. As a 5yo, he again won the Pavo Cup. At the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, he placed 5th as a 5yo. As a 6yo, he won the Stallion Championships in Den Bosch with a 10.0 for his trot and canter.  Charmeur is now winning at PSG level and looks to have a promising future.

Charmeur’s sire, Florencio, twice won the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.  His dam’s sire, Jazz, was one of the most successful dressage horses in the world and has produced countless superstars.

Jet’s dam, Zonkara De Jeu, was imported in late 2013 as one of the foundation mares for Ellanbrae’s breeding program.  Zonkara was purchased for her outstanding damline.

Zonkara is by Rousseau who was the champion of his stallion performance test in 2001.  He was the Dutch National Champion (Pavo Cup) as a 4yo and Reserve Champion as a 5yo.  He earned perfect scores of 10 from guest riders Lisa Wilcox and Stefan van Ingelgem.  Rousseau was the Silver Medalist of the 2003 FEI World Championships for Young Horses in Verden.  Rousseau stood at stud for a few seasons in Europe, where he sired many fantastic horses and licensed sons, including Blu Hors Zack and Ampere, before moving to the United States.
